Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with six sisters, our home was always full of imagination, movement, and storytelling. We were constantly creating - putting on productions and turning everyday moments into something memorable. Long before creativity became a part of my career, it was simply how I experienced the world.
A NOTE FROM MCKENNA
As I grew older, that passion evolved through athletics. My years playing competitive and professional soccer shaped so much of who I am today. Being part of a team taught my discipline, adaptability, leadership, and the importance of every small detail working together toward something bigger. From practices to game day, I learned that what happens behind the scenes is often what makes the final result possible -- something that mirrors the production process of a creative shoot more than people realize!
Modeling later gave me another perspective entirely. After being in front of the camera for 15 years, I was able to see what is missing and what could make productions flow better. The creative process isn't simple or ever the exact same -- it comes together through collaboration of ideas, trust, movement, energy and many more unseen factors.
Now, here I am, excited to bring all of those experiences together and lean fully into the creative side of what I love most: helping people bring their visions to life in a way that's intentional, authentic and fun!
Sea glass is shaped through transformation. What begins as something ordinary is softened and refined over time by movement, friction, and the natural rhythm of the ocean—eventually becoming something entirely its own.
Sea Glass Studio sees the creative process in much the same way. An initial idea is shaped through collaboration, thoughtful direction, and all the moving pieces of production until it becomes something clear, cohesive, and beautiful.
The name is a reflection of that process: taking something with potential and thoughtfully shaping it into something worth discovering.
